VOG turns 21 on the 4th March 2025!
Gauteng membership and all those in the area on the day, please take note that we will celebrate this fine occasion on Sunday 9th March at a local popular and award winning venue in Springs - namely the GRILL O Steakery & Diner located @ Springsgate Shopping Centre, Paul Kruger Rd, Geduld, Springs.
We will be seated in a private room reserved for VOG from 10am until 2pm and will make use of the outside deck as well. Meals & drinks may be ordered from the menu and there is a lunch buffet on offer @ R189/adult and under 12 pays R79. The popular Carvery Buffet includes Salads, Starter, Veggies, Hot Pots, 3 Roast Meats & Dessert.
Zebra Point:
All members may proceed direct to the venue and find parking nearby to Grill O, but there will also be a mass ride from one of the East Rand collection points - BP Tom Jones (26°10'49.4"S 28°18'40.3"E). The short route will be about a 20 minute ride and is a total of 18km, with the first stretch being on the N12 highway and then southwards on the R51 to the venue. ETD from this assembly point is at 10h15 and we should arrive at the venue by 10h45.
Your RSVP is required and should include the following vital information please – by WEDNESDAY 5th March PLEASE, with no exceptions. This is required for seating, catering and planning of a safe and enjoyable ride.
Your RSVP must include: The number of bikes, the number of cages, the number of persons, the number of meals, where you will meet (Zebra or venue) and most importantly - GIVE YOUR FULL NAME please! (See example below).

You may RSVP now on vogrsvp@worldonline.co.za via e-mail or wait until you receive your bulk SMS on MONDAY morning giving ETD times and meeting points for the run. Please do not RSVP more than once, unless your details have changed since doing so the first time! Also, please do not RSVP to any other number you may have. When you receive the bulk SMS, by simply pressing "reply" and adding your message, it will be retained in the system and carried to the correct address.
